Seahorse mermaid and merman

These creatures are seahorse based merpeople. Unlike the usual fish baced merpeople they do not have a main fin on their tails so they usually wear sleves that they use for fins on their arms (look to the right) but when they take them off some people prefer wrapping it around their waist (look to the left). I based the style of the people of the arabic culture. The mermaid is a belly dancer and the merman is a palice guard for the leader of their tribe. There are 13 different seahorse merpeople tribes (based off of the islamic people) each one specialising in a different craft. This tribes' craft is working with metal that they heat from the under water volcanoes that they live near. (That is why they wear so much gold) Their symbol for their tribe is a ruby. (on the mermaid's belt and on the merman's spear)
These people think it is extremely rude to show their faces to strangers or people who are not of direct family (based off of the culture in saudi arabia)
